Hello!! I am the new Ms. Classic Beauty 2006, Nicole
Jividen. I am 22 years old and I live in Dayton, Ohio. I am a senior at Wright State University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Criminal
Justice. Upon graduation, I plan on attending law school to obtain my law
degree.
I am very honored to represent Classic Beauty and represent
the plus size woman in America. Through my appearances, I will show that beauty does not
have a size, beauty is boundless and we are ALL beautiful!!!
My platform is to raise the awareness of child abuse
prevention. As a child, I was abused mentally, physically, and sexually by my
father. I know how difficult it is to go through a situation like that and not
have anyone who cares to help. I have made it my life’s work to prevent this
from happening. Once I have my law degree, I plan to practice either criminal
or family law, so that I may prosecute these men and women who choose to
violate our youth. I am currently involved with the Montgomery County
Children’s Services in Dayton, Ohio. I volunteer as a “Special Friend” to children that are
currently in the system. I listen to their worries and concerns and I am there
to lend a shoulder to cry on. These children know that I have gone through the
same or similar situations and they know that they can trust me. It breaks my
heart to know that people can do this to their own children and not even worry
about it. One day, I hope these children will see that what happened is not
their fault, and will take this horrid experience and come to the same
conclusion as I have, to dedicate their lives to prevent it from happening
anymore.
